Kneesall's beautiful 14th century church building is home to both the Bill Hemsley Community Centre and St Bartholomew's church. It comes with all the joys and responsibilities of any grade 1 listed building, so funds are always needed to keep it going as Kneesall's one and only community space.

Following the success of Kneesall Music Marathon 2025 this year is bigger and better. The weekend of 16th & 17th May will be a fundraising weekend full of musical events.

• Saturday begins with Beccy Burgess, soprano & singing teacher, leading a fun & engaging session learning some catchy songs in parts. No previous experience necessary, just an interest in singing in the lovely acoustic of St Barts.

• Saturday afternoon is time for African Drumming. Again no experience necessary, step by step instruction is included.

• Students from The Piano Barn entertain at 3.15pm, taking us on a musical journey with piano ensemble music.

• On Saturday evening you can dance or just tap your toes to The Ravenshead Swing Band. Pie and pea supper included in the ticket, plus a bar selling wine, beer and soft drinks.

• Sunday morning is a big sing. Old School Bangers is a joyful sing-a-long to assembly favourites, both old and new.

• The Kneesall Knightingales entertain at 12.30 with a programme of songs about Sunshine and Happiness.

• The Edwinstowe Handbell Ringers take up the baton at 2pm. After a recital of their music you can try out the bells in their have-a-go session.

• And at 4pm we have our FINALE CONCERT. The Dukeries Singers, Piano Barn Students and Steelpantastic steel band round off a weekend full of music making and fundraising.
